In 1955 Alfa Romeo introduced its popular but visually undistinguished 1.3 liter Giulietta salon although it was preceded in 1954 by its handsome Bertone-styled Sprint derivative! This in turn led to the Gulietta Sprint Speciale of 1957, also by Bertone, and universally acclaimed as being one of the best looking and memorable Alfa Romeos of the post war years.
